Noua Terrae-Mariae tabula This is the ed.2 of the Lord Baltimore map of 1635. It was first published in Ogilby's America in 1671. It is the first map to name the counties of Maryland. A new map of Virginia Mary=land and the improved parts of Penn=sylvania, & New=Jersey most humbly inscrib'd to the right hon. the Earl of Orkney & ct. knight of ye most noble and anciet [sic] order of thistle 1719. This is the third and final state of a derivative of the Augustine Herrman map. The first state of the derivative was published by Christopher Browne in 1685. Nova Virginiae tabula This is state 2 of the Jodocus Hondius Jr. map of the same name dated 1618, which in turn was a direct derivative of the John Smith map of 1612. This is the first state of edition three of a long series of maps with the Novi Belgii title, based possibly on a Johannes Jansson prototype. This is the first state of a map based on Augustine Herrman's map of 1673, reoriented with north at the top and reduced to a single sheet.
