Born in Baltimore, Maryland, November 18, 1947. Attended Parkville High School, Baltimore, Maryland; University of Baltimore, B.A. (history), 1969, J.D., 1972. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1972. Law clerk to Judge Albert L. Sklar, Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, 1972-73. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (chair, special committee for the celebration of the bicentennial of the constitution, 1985-87). Co-founder, Baltimore Museum of Legal History in Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr., Courthouse, 1984. Author, The Story of the Library Company of the Baltimore Bar (1979); History of the Bar Association of Baltimore City (1980); A Baker's Dozen of Historical Minutes from the 225th Anniversary of the First and Franklin Street Presbyterian Church of Baltimore, Maryland (1988). Co-author, A Bicentennial History of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, 1790-1990 (Baltimore, 1990). Alumnus of the Year, School of Liberal Arts, University of Baltimore, 1986. Member, First and Franklin Street Presbyterian Church, Baltimore, Maryland. Died in Baltimore, Maryland, April 6, 2020.
