BOXING
In Maryland, boxing is regulated by the State Athletic Commission, which is part of the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing within the Maryland Department of Labor.
On April 25, 2026, championship professional boxing returns to Baltimore when a fight will be held at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.
Maryland boxers include Franchon Crews-Dezurn, Joe Gans, Sugar Ray Leonard, Vincent Pettway, Hasim Rahman, Gervonta Davis, Deric (Scooter) Davis, and Jaqeem Hutcherson.
