75. And further to do execute and Perform all other Acts Matters and things necessary and Expedient to be done in and about the Premises as fully and Effectually to all Intents and Purposes as they the said James Johnson and Margaret his Wife might or Could do were they Personally Present and did the Same Hereby Ratifying Allowing and Confirming all and whatsoever the Said Charles Grahame Alexander Lawson and Corbin Lee jointly or any or either of them severally shall Lawfully do or Cause to be done in and about the Premisses by Virtue of these Presents In Witness whereof they the said James Johnson and Margaret his Wife have hereunto sett their hands and seals the Seventeenth day of February in the third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty three James Johnson s Sealed and delivered (being first duly stampt) Margaret Johnson s in the Presence of Edmund Key Charles Ridgley Jun.r Sealed and Delivered (The Parchment being first duly Stampt) in the Presence of Us The Interlianation between the Twenty the Twenty Ninth and Thirtieth lines from the top being first inserted Edm.d Key Charles Ridgely Junior James Johnson and Margaret his Wife parties to the within Deed this day Personally appeared before me and acknowledged the same to be their and each of their free and Voluntary Act and Deed the Said Margaret being by me first Privately Examined according to Law and declaring her Voluntary and free Consent thereto without threats or force of her Husband Dated at the Mansion house London the Eighteenth Day day of February 1763 Will Beckford Mayor Then Came before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County Edmund Key and August the 3.d 1763 Charles Ridgley and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw James Johnson and Margaret Johnson his Wife sign seal and deliver the within written Deed that they saw them Execute the Power of Attorney indorsed thereon and that they signed their Names thereto as Witnesses Tho.s Francklin Wal.r Tolley Then came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Alexander |
