Alexander Lawson and Corbin Lee Esq.r of Baltimore County and by virtue of the above written power of attorney jointly and severally acknowledged the within Deed or Instrument of Writing to be the Act and Deed of the within Named James Johnson and Margaret his Wife and the within Land and Tenements with their Appurtenances to be the Right and Estate of the within named Walter Ewer and John Ewer their Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning thereof according to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided September 23.d 1763 Acknowledged before Geo Stuart Recorded the 23.d September 1763 21 s.d Ex.d This Indenture made the fifteenth August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seaven hundred and Sixty three Between George Matthews of Baltimore County Miller of the one Part and Patrick Duncan of the Said County Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said George Matthews for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Eighteen Pounds Current Money to him in hand Paid by the said Patrick Dunkan the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Bargained and sold and by these presents Doth Bargain and sell to the said Patrick Dunkan all that parts or Tracts of Lands Caulled White Oak Bottom and Georges String contain.d within the following Metes Bounds Viz Beginning for the said Parts Hereby bargained and Sold at the End of thirty two Perches on the North Thirty Eight Degrees East seaventy four perch Line of a Tract or Parcel of Land Caul.d Georges String Running thence North Thirty Eight Degrees East forty two Perches East forty Eight Perches North thirty six perches North Twenty two Degrees East Forty perches North forty Deg.s West Forty perches North Sixty three Degrees West Forty two Perches North forty two & a half Degrees West thirty perches North Eighty Six Degrees West Twenty four Perches South thirty two degrees West one hundred and Fifty two Perches South Seventy five Degrees East Fifty Eight Perches then with a Straight line to the Place of Beginning for one hundred and Eighteen Acres more or less with all and Singular the Appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appertaining And also all the Right Estate Interest Benefit Claim and Demand Whatsoever of him the Said George Matthews of in & to all and singular the Premisses To have and To hold the said Parcel of Land and all and singular the |
