700. Twelve notches Standing near the East side of a pocoson (or Swamp) being a draft of Mallowoman Swamp at the root of which said white oak is fixed a Stone whereon as Graven these Words viz.t The Begin.s of Wheeler's Park and ^from^ the said Tree and stone running south Sixty Eight Degrees East Sixty four perches then South twenty two Degrees West fifty perches then North sixty Eight Degrees West Sixty four perches thence with a Streight line to the Beginning Containing twenty Acres be the same more or Less To have and to hold the said Land and Premises Together with all and singular the Improvements Conveniencies and Advantages to the said Tract or Parcell of Land belonging or in any manner of way appertaining To the only proper use and behoof of him the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs and Assigns forever And to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Basil Burgess doth for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs and assigns the aforesaid Tract or Parcell of Land and every part and parcell thereof against him the said Basil Burgess and his heirs as also against all other person or persons claiming or to claim from by or under him Shall and will Warrant and for ever Defend by these presents And the said Basil Burgess doth further for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant promise grant and Agree to and with the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs and Assigns That he the said Basil Burgess and his heirs shall and will at all times hereafter upon the reasonable request and at the proper Costs and Charges of him the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs or assigns make do acknowledge Suffer and Execute any further Deed or Instrument in Writing such as the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs or Assigns his or their Council Learned in the Law Shall reasonably devise Advise or require for the further Assurance Surety and Suremaking the Land and premisses aforesaid with the Appurtenances (unto) |
