701. unto the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the true intent and Meaning of these presents In Witness whereof the Party to these presents hath set his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and B Burgess Delivered in the presence of Jn.o Brice Geo Steuart On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz Received the day and year within written of the within named John Frederick Augustus Priggs the sum of Five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Ster.g £0 5 0 Witness my hand Test John Brice B Burgess Geo Steuart Maryland fs.t The day and year within Written Came Basil Burgess Party to the Within Deed and Acknowledged the Tract or parcell of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances within Mentioned to be the Right of the within mentioned John Frederick Augustus Priggs his heirs and assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of their Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Before Jn.o Brice Received the 28.th October 1765 of John Frederick Augustus Priggs ten pence Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General John Davidson 7 1/2 sides Recorded 28.th Octob.r 1765 Examined This Indenture made Eighteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Basil Wheeler of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland of the one part & Leonard Spencer of Liverpool in the Kingdom of great Brittain and John & George Wheeler of the province aforesaid of the other part (Whereas) |
