654. said Alexander Campbell the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath given granted Bargained and Sold Aleaned Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain & sell alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto him the said Alexander Campbell his heirs and Assigns for Ever all his Rite Title Interest & Estate whatsoever in and to all that part of a tract of Land lying in Prince Georges County and also in Charles County Called the Hog pen Containing one hundred Acres more or Less which land was Conveyed by Charles Robinson and Ann his Wife To my Father William Robbins Deceased In the year of our Lord seventeen hundred & forty Eight To have and to hold the said tract or part of a tract or parcell of Land With all houses orchards Fenceing Co^n^veniences and Appurtenances to the same or any part thereof belonging or in any ways Appertaining unto him the said Alexander Campbell his heirs and Assigns for Ever and the said Thomas Robbins doth for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant and Agree to and with the said Alexander Campbell his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Alexander Campbell his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns Shall and may by virtue of these presents from time to time and at all times hereafter Quietly and Peaceably Have hold Occupy and Enjoy the Land and Premises before Granted free & Clear of and from all and Every Incumbrance & Charge whatsoever of him the said Thomas Robbins his heirs or Assigns for Ever or of any other person or persons Claiming or to Claim by from or under him them or any of them or from all persons whatsoever In witness whereof the said Thomas ^Robbins^ Hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered Thomas Robbins seal in the presence of us John Weldon J Hepburn On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t August y.e 26.th 1765 Then Received from Alexander Campbell the sum of Thirty Pounds Current Money Being the Consideration within mentioned Test Thomas Robbins J Hepburn June y.e 26.th 1765 Then came Thomas Ribbons before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court and Acknowledged the Within Deed and the Lands and premisses within mentioned to be the Right of the within mentioned Alexander Campbell his Heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly such Cases made and provided and also Came Mary Fenly Robbin wife of the said Thomas Robbin who being privately Examined out of the Hearing of her Husband did willing and freely acknowledge the Within Deed and give up |
