594 hereafter in any wise affect the same and that he hath good Right, Power and Authority Absolutely to sell and dispose of the same in manner and form aforesaid as he hath done And furthermore that he and his Heirs shall and will Warrant and defend the same unto the said John Hammond and his Heirs and Assigns and shall and Will at any time hereafter at the reasonable Instance and Request and proper Cost and Charges of him the said John Hammond and his Heirs and Assigns Execute or Suffer to be done and Executed any other further or more Sufficient Conveyance in Law Containing Like Covenants and Warranty for the better and more Effectual surety and Sure making of the parcell of Land and premisses aforesaid with its Appurtenances hereby Granted and Released by him the said William Black and his Heirs as aforesaid unto the said John Hammond his Heirs and Assigns as by him or them or his or their Council learned in the Law shall be devised Advised or required In Witness whereof the said William Black hath hereunto set his hand seal the day and year first above Written.) Sealed and Delivered (being first duly Stampt) In the Presence of Richard Lane William Black Seal James Hanrick Jos Richardson On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t Received the day and Year with^in^ written of the within Named John Hammond by the hands of Silvanus Grove of London Merchant the sum of sixty Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witness Richard Lane James Hanrick P William Black Jos Richardson June 29.th 1765 Then Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordship's Justices of Ann Arundel County Court Captain James Hanrick and Captain Joseph Richardson subscribing Evidences to the within Deed and made oath on the holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw the within named William Black sign seal and as his Act & Deed delivered the within Indenture to and for the Uses and Purposes therein mentioned 19.th August 1765 Received seven Shillings and five H Ridgley pence half penny Sterling being the Alienation fine for John Burgess Jun.r the within Land for the use of the Lord Baltimore 9 1/2 sides Recorded 19.th August 1765 Edw.d Lloyd |
