       his Act and Deed and the peice or parcel of Land thereby bargained and sold with the premisses
       and appurtenances to be the right Title and Estate of the within named John Beale Bordley
       his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed On the
       same Day was Ann the Wife of the said Edward Fell by us Examined out of her husbands
       hearing; who acknowledged all her right of Dower to the said bargained Peice or parcel of
       Land with the Premisses and appurtenances to be the Right Title and Estate of the said
       John Beale Bordley his heirs and Assigns; and declared she made such acknowledgment
       of her own free and Voluntary Will, without being induced so to do by threats or ill usage
       of or from her said Husband or through fear of his displeasure; as witness our Hands

       Memorandum that on the 18.th day of March 1765 Peaceable and Quiet Possession and Leisin
       of the Land and Hereditaments within mentioned to be granted was made by the within named
       Edward Fell to the within named John Beale Bordley in their proper Persons to hold to him the
       said John Beale Bordley his heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Tenor Form and
       Effect of the within written Deed in the presence of us (fifteen words being first interlined between
       the second and third Lines)

       Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within land by virtue of a Commission from
       Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General

Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the fifth day of December One thousand Seven
       hundred and sixty four Between Henry Hill of Madeira now in the Province of Maryland
       on the one part and James Dick of Ann Arundel County in the aforesaid Province Merchant
       on the other part witnesseth that the said Henry Hill for and in Consideration of the sum of Two
       Hundred pounds Currency to him in Hand paid by the above named James Dick before the
       ensealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and
       thereof acquit and discharge the said James Dick his Heirs Executors and Administrators by
       these presents Hath Granted Bargained sold aliened Released and Confirmed and by these
       Presents Doth Grant Bargain sell Alien Release and Confirm unto the said James Dick his
       Heirs and Assigns all that peice or parcell of Land being part of a Tract of Land called
       Scorton lying in Ann Arundell County aforesaid and lying Contiguous to London Town in the
       said Province of Maryland and which said part or parcell of Land Contains fifty Acres
       more or less being the property of and was formerly possessed by Doctor Richard Hill late
       of Madiera deceased Father to the above said henry Hill the same beginning at the
       beginning of London Town that is the Southermost Corner of the Lott Number forty four
       and running with shipping Creek and Butted and Bounded as P Deed from Richard Moore to the
       said Doctor Richard Hill dated on or about the Twenty sixth day of September One thousand
       seven hundred and Twenty one being on Record referrence being thereunto had may more fully
       appear which together with all & Singular the Rights Members and appurtenances thereto
