527 belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the Right Estate Title property Claim and Demand whatsoever at Law or in Equity of him the said Henry Hill of in or to the above mentioned piece of Land and premises or any part thereof To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and premises hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said James Dick his Heirs and Assigns To the ^and for^ only proper use and behoof of him the said James Dick his Heirs and Assigns for ever And the said Henry Hill for himself his Heirs and Executors and Administrators doth Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with the said James Dick his Heirs and Assigns and of every of them that he the said Henry Hill his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns the herein before mentioned and bargained premises and every part thereof unto the said James Dick his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Henry Hill his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and all and every person or persons Claiming or to Claim from by or under them or any of them and from and against all Person or Persons whatever shall and will Warrant and for ever defend In Witness whereof the abovesaid Henry Hill hath hereunto sett his Hand and Affixed his Seal the day and year first above written Henry Hill seal In presence of Geo Steuart Rob.t Couden On the back of the aforegoing Deed it is thus written Viz.t Receiv'd the Day and year first within mentioned of and from the within named James Dick the sum of two hundred pounds Currency in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid by him to me Henry Hill In presence of Geo Steuart Rob.t Couden December 5.th 1784 then came the within named Henry Hill before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the within mentioned Land and premisses to be the Right and Estate of the within named James Dick his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning thereof and to an Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Geo Steuart Received of M.r James Dick two Shillings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within fifty Acres of Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 28.th day of March 1785 7 Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the Twenty third day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five between William Brown of London Town in Ann Arundel County Joyner of the one part and James Dick of said County Merchant of the other part Whereas the said William Brown is Indebted and Doth owe unto the said James Dick |
