462 On the 13.th day of November 1764 Then came Benjamin Tasker Esquire before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland Partie to the within Deed and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Charles Carroll Barrister his Heirs and Assigns for ever According to the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided 6 1/2 Sides Geo Steuart Recorded the 19.th November 1764 This Indenture made this twentieth day of November in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty four Between Michael Ruley of Ann Arundel County in Maryland of the one Part and Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters of the City of Annapolis of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Michael Ruley for and in Consideration of the Yearly Rent Covenants Clauses and Agreements herein after mentioned on the Part and behalf of the said Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters their Executors Administrators and Assigns to be Paid kept done and Performed Hath demised Granted and to farm Letten and by these Presents Doth demise Grant and to farm lett unto them the said Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters their Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Part of two Tracts of Land called Edwards Neck and Ruleys Search lying and being in Ann Arundel County aforesaid contained within the following Lines Distances and Boundaries to wit at a Bounded Cedar Post on a Shell Point at the Mouth of fishing Creek and running thence North Two hundred and sixteen feet to a Mulberry Tree then West one hundred and eighty feet to South River then by and with South River to the aforesaid Cedar Post containing and laid out for Nineteen thousand four hundred and sixty feet more or Less reserving and excepting to the said Michael Ruley his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns all the Oyster Shells in and upon the same Nineteen thousand four hundred and sixty feet of Land being To have and to hold one undivided Moiety or half Part of the Tract of Land (aforesaid |
