36. and John Brice of the City of Annapolis of the other part Whereas by Deed of Bargain and Sale made or mentioned to be made between Thomas Bordley of Annapolis in Maryland Gentleman of the one part and John Brice of the City and Province aforesaid of the other part bearing date the third day of June in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and forty seven the said Thomas Bordley for and in Consideration of the sum of seventy pounds sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said John Brice did give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoff release assign and Confirm unto him the said John Brice his heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land lying in Cæcil County on the South Side of Bohemia River and on the West side of the south Branch of a Creek Called Scotchmans Creek which Said Tract of Land is Called Frisbys Forest and Contains three hundred and Seventy Acres of Land more or Less According to pattent Granted to James Frisby of Cæcil County deceased bearing date the tenth day of September sixteen hundred and Eighty three Also all that Prat of a Tract of Land called Frisby's Prime Choice lying on the East side of Chesepeak Bay adjoining to the said Tract of Land called Frisbys Forest Butted and Bounded as follows Viz Beginning at a bounded Locust Post placed (by the Commissioners appointed by the Justices of Cæcil County Court to Perpetuate the Bounds of the White Marsh Lands and standing by the side of the White Marsh being at the head of a Creek called Scotchmans Creek) instead of the Original Marked White Oak the Beginning tree of said Tract called Frisby's Prime Choice and the Beginning of the Division of that part of the said Tract of Land Called Frisby's Prime Choice sold by the said Thomas Bordley to David Cheston of Kent County Gentleman and running from the said Locust Post with the said Daniel Cheston's dividing line south seventy one degrees West Ninety four Perches and half a perch to a Locust post then North fifty Eight degrees West with the said Cheston's dividing Line sixty eight Perches to another Locust Post then running with a streight line it being the said Cheston's dividing Line to a Locust Post placed at the End of the North by West line of Thomas Davis's Land called the Level then running with the said Level West South West forty two perches then North one degree East Sixty Eight Perches until it Intersect the Road leading to the Church then with the said Road North seventeen Degrees thirty Minutes East one hundred and forty seven Perches untill it Intersects the South East line of the said Phrisby's Prime Choice on the green before the Church Door Which said Church is Built on a Tract of Land called the North Levell taken up by William Ward of Cæcil County aforesaid and from the said Intersection running with the south East Line of the said Frisby's Prime Choice to the Beginning Locust |
