35. On the Back of the aforesaid Power of Attorney was thus Written to wit Be it remembered that William Paca and Thomas B Hands Jun.r the subscribing Witnesses to the within Power of Attorney came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and severally made Oath on the holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did Severally see the within named Beal Bordley and Elizabeth Bordley parties to these within Power of Attorney severally sign seal & as their several Act and deed deliver the same for the uses and Purposes within Mentioned and that they did severally set their hands thereto as Witnesses Sworn to the thirtieth day of April 1763 William Paca before B Hands HB Hands Jun.r By Virtue of the within Power of Attorney the within named Beal Bordley and Elizabeth Bordley by Samuel Beedle one of their Attorneys did this Eleventh day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ seventeen hundred and sixty three deliver to the within named John Brice peaceable and quiet seisin and possession of the within Lands Called Coasters Harbour and High Park in the Name of all the Lands and Tenements contained in a deed of Feoffment made between the within Named Beal Bordley and Elizabeth Bordley of the one Part and the within named John Brice of the other part bearing equal date with the within Letter or Power of Attorney according to the form and Effect of the Said Deed of Feoffment by the delivery of Turf and Twigg on the said Tracts or Parcels of Land aforesaid Called Coasters Harbour & High Park in Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our Names this Eleventh day of May 1763 the Words (peaceable) and (within named) being first Interlined before the Witnesses signed their Names as Witnesses his Thomas o Etherington sen Robert Penington Mark B Etherington James Harris Recorded the 23.d day of July 1763 6 1/2 s.d Ex.d This Indenture made the fifth day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand seven hundred and sixty three Between Ariana Margaritta Harris of Kent County in the Province of Maryland Widow of the one part and |
