346 And the said Charles Carroll and his Heirs the aforesaid Lott Number one hundred and fifty seven and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said George Hunter his Heirs and Assigns forever against all and every other Person and Persons Whatsoever Claiming by from or under him the said Charles Carroll or his Heirs or by their ^means or^ Procurement shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these Presents In Witness Whereof the said Charles Carroll hath hereunto set his Hand and Seal the day and Year ^first^ above Written Sealed and Delivered in Cha Carroll Seal the Presence of the Words (and Assigns) between the thirteenth and fourteenth lines being first inserted Robert Noms John Reresby On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written 1764 June 4.th Received of the Reverend M.r George Hunter Six Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Test Cha Carroll John Reresby 1764 June 4.th The Came Charles Carroll Party to the with Deed before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices and Acknowledged the within mentioned Lott and Premisses to be the Right and Estate of the within named George Hunter Agreeable to an Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Geo Steuart Recorded the 5.th June 1764 5 1/2 s.d |
