309 from all Action Claim and Demand of Dower In Witness whereof I the said Mary Tipton have hereunto set my Hand ^and^ Seal this Twenty fourth day of April Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Sixty four her Signed Sealed and Mary M Tipton Seal Delivered before Samuel Chase On the Back of the above Deed was thus Written Viz.t On this 24.th day of April 1764 Came Mary Tipton before Me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the above Instrument of Release to be her Act and Deed and that She does thereby Release her Right of Dower in the Two Tracts above mentioned to John Tipton above mentioned Acknowledged before Recorded the 24.th Ap.l 1764 Geo Steuart 3 1/2 s.d This Indenture made the Twenty third day of April in the Year of our Lord Christ One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four Between Benjamin Welsh of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and John Brice of the City of Annapolis of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Welsh for and in Consideration of the sum of Five hundred and forty five Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in Hand Paid by the said John Brice the Receipt whereof he the said Benjamin Welsh doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth Acquit exonerate and Discharge the said John Brice his Executors Administrators and Assigns hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened enfeoffed released and Confirmed and by these Presents he the said Benjamin Welsh doth for himself and his Heirs Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff release and Confirm unto him the said John Brice his Heirs (and) |
