303.

       whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever ^by these Presents^ defend and also that he the
       said Joseph Gill and his Heirs shall and will at any Time hereafter at the
       Request of the said Thomas and William Ringgold or their Heirs or Assigns
       make do execute levy or suffer or cause to be made Done executed levied or suffered
       all and every such further and other Act or Acts Deed or Deeds Conveyance
       or Conveyances Assurance or Assurances Time or Times Recovery or
       Recoverys whatsoever in the Law for the better Assuring the said bargained
       Lands and Premisses to the said Thomas and William Ringgold their Heirs
       or Assigns as shall be by them Council Learned in the Law devised Advised
       or Required   Provided Nevertheless & it is the True intent and meaning
       of these Presents that if the said Joseph Gill his his Heirs or Assigns do and
       shall well and truly pay to the said Thomas and William Ringgold their
       Heirs or Assigns the af.d sum of Four hundred and Sixty four Pounds six
       shillings and four Pence Current Money as aforesaid or Spanish Dollars at
       seven shillings at seven shillings and six Pence each with legal Interest thereon
       from the date af.d at or upon the Tenth day of March which shall be in the Year
       of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty seven that shall be due
       at that Time and also pay the Interest Yearly then the above Indenture and
       every Clause matter and thing therein to be Utterly Void and of none Effect
       And the said Joseph Gill doth Also hereby ^Covenant^ Promise Grant and Agree to and
       with the said Thomas and William Ringgold and their Executors Administrators
       and Assigns that he the said Joseph will when Required pay to the
       said Thomas and William their Executors Administrators or Assigns the af.d
       sum of Four hundred and Sixty four Pounds six shillings Current Money and
       the Interest thereon Accruing In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents
       have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the day & Year
