                   This Indenture made the Eighteth day of July in the Year of our
       Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty three Between Michael Devanbaugh of
       Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Blacksmith of the one part and Nicholas
       Maccubbin of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the other part
       Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and sixty seven pounds
       Sterling Money of Great Britain to the said Michael Devanbaugh at or before the ensealing
       and delivery hereof by the said Nicholas Maccubbin well and truly paid paid the receipt
       thereof the said Michael Devanbaugh Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof & of every Part &
       Parcell thereof Doth Clearly Acquit Release & discharge the said Nicholas Maccubbin his
       Heirs Executors Administrators & Assigns & every of them for ever By these Presents the Said
       Michael Devanbaugh Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeof & confirm unto the said
       Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs & Assigns for ever all that Lot of Land and Premisses lying and
       being in Baltimore Town in the County aforesaid on the West side of Joneses falls Known or
       distinguished by Number Eighty three lying on Gays Street near the Market House in the said
       Town whereof is One Brick Dwelling house Twenty six feet by Twenty feet and One
       Other Dwelling house Forty feet by thirty feet which said Lot of Land the said Michael
       Devanbaugh Bought of Thomas Harrisson as by the said Deed duly Acknowledged & recorded
       in Baltimore County Records N.o One folies 629 may more fully and at Large Appear
       with all & singular the Edifices Improvements and Appurtenances their unto Belonging
       or which are now deemed to Belong to the same and the reversion & reversions remainder
       & remainders rents issues & other Profits of the said Premisses hereby Granted Bargained
       Sold Aliend Enfeoffed and Confirmed and every Part and Parcell thereof and also all the
       Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever Both in Law and
       Equity of the said Lott of Land and Premisses therein and there unto   To have and
       to hold the said Lot of Land and Premisses aforesaid To occupy Possess and enjoy and
       all and Singular the other Premisses herein before mentioned or Intended to be hereby
       Granted Bargained Sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and every Part and Parcell
       theirof unto him the said Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns to the only Proper Use
       and Behoof of him the said Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to no
       other Use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever and the said Michael Devanbaugh for
       himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Doth Covenant grant and
