24.

       unto the same to belong   To have and To hold the said Stream of Water
       Water Mill and Condemned Land afd with all and singular the Appurtenances and
       Improvements Gear & Utensils Profits & Advantages thereof unto him the said John
       Hammond his Heirs Exrs Admrs and Assigns fully and freely peaceably and quietly
       without any the least Molestation Contradiction Hindrance Claim & Daniel &c of &
       from him the said Charles Hammond his Heirs Exrs & Admrs or of others deriving Right
       or Claiming by from or under him or them And without Account to said Charles or any
       other person whatsoever of all or any of the Profits and Emoluments of said Water Mill &c
       hereafter of said John his Exrs &c to be required made or rendered; but that he the said
       John shall enjoy & perceive the same to his own use and to none other whatsoever and
       be and remain lawfully Estated & Possessed of and in the Mill & Premisses aforesad & its
       Appurtenances as aforesaid absolutely and to all Intents & Purposes by Virtue & force
       of these Presents   In Witness whereof the said Charles Hammond hath
       hereunto set his hand and seal the day and Year first above written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered

                   On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz

       Received this 9.th day of July 1763 of John Hammond the Consideration Money
       within Expressed to be paid me for the Use & Benefit of the Claimants Entitluled
       there unto under the last Will of Philip Hammond Esq.r deceased and in
       purchase of the within Premisses   Recvd the same by me

       July 9.th 1763  Then Came Charles Hammond Jun.r Party to the within
       Instrument of Writing and Acknowledged before Us the Subscribers two of his
       Lordships Justices for Ann Arundel County Court the same to be his Act and Deed and
       the Premisses with the Appurtenances therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate
       of the within named John Hammond his Heirs Ex.rs &c according to the true Intent
       and Meaning of s.d Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided
