       these Presents as af.d at and upon the Time before limitted and expressed In Witness
       whereof I the said John Wayman have hereunto set my Hand and Seal
       this first day of March Seventeen hundred and Sixty four

       March 8th 1764   Then John Wayman the Party above named came before me
       the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of Ann.l County Court and Acknowledged
       the above Instrument of Writing as his Act and Deed & Negro Slaves
       therein named to be the Right and Estate of the within named Charles Hammond
       Jun.r Ext.r of Philip for the use and Benefit of s.d Philips Estate and
       the Claimants under his Will According to the true intent and meaning
       of the above Instrument of Writing and the Act of Assembly in such
       Case made and Provided      before me

Ex.d               This Indenture made the third day of March Annoq Dom
       One thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between James Chalmers
       of the City of Annapolis Silver Smith of the one Part and James Maccubbin
       of the City of Annapolis aforesaid in Ann Arundel County Merchant of
       the other Part that for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred
       and thirty seven Pounds Current Money of the Province of Maryland to him
       in Hand Paid or secured to be Paid by the said James Maccubbin one at
       or before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof
       the said James Chalmers doth hereby Acknowledge and of and from every
       Part and Parcell thereof Doth fully and Absolutely Acquit Exhonorate
       and Discharge the said James Maccubbin his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns he the said James Chalmers Hath Granted
       Bargained and Sold Alliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these
       Presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell Allein Enfeoff and Confirm to
       the said James Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns forever all that
