       within named Lancelot Jacques his heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent
       and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made & Provided

Ex.d      Maryland fs.t To all Christian People
       to whom this Present Writing shall come I John Hood of Ann Arundel
       County In the Province of Maryland send Greeting   Know yee that
       I John Hood as well for and in Consideration of the Natural Affections & Love
       which I have and bear unto my well beloved Daugter Sarah Walker Now the
       Wife of John Walker of Ann Arundel County in the afores.d Province also for
       Divers other Good Causes and Considerations me Especially at this time Moving
       Have Given and Granted and by these Presents   Do absolutely Give Grant
       and Confirm unto the Said Sarah Walker One Thousand Two hundred & six Acres
       of Land part of a tract of Land called Salleys Chance Resurveyd Lying and being
       In Baltimore County Containing One Thousand Three hundred and Forty six Acres
       (the Remaining One hundred and Forty Acres I have Already Conveyd to a Certain Luke
       Mercier ^in two parcels^)   And allso a tract of Land called Dorseys Good will lying in the County afd
       Containing Sixteen Acres of Land more or Less Together with all Profits & Comodities
       to the Same belonging or in any wise appertaining   To have & To hold
       the aforesaid Land & Premises with the Appurtenances unto the Said Sarah
       Walker and to her own Proper Use and Behoof Freely and Quietly without
       any Matter of Challenge Claim or Demand of me the said John Hood or of any
       other person or persons Whatsoever for me in my Name by my Cause means or procurement
       And without any Money or other things therefore to be Yielded or Paid unto me
       the Said John Hood my Executors Administrators or Assigns    And ^I^ the said
       John Hood the aforesaid Land and Premises with all and Singular the Appurtenances
       to the Said Sarah Walker to the Use afd against my heirs Do Warrant and for
       ever Defend by these Presents   And Further know Ye that I
