174. South East thirty perches then with a streight Line to the Beginning containing & laid out for Two hundred Acres more or less with all and singular the Premises & Appurtenances thereunto belonging To have & To hold y.e afores.d Two hundred Acres of Land & every part & parcel thereof together with all and Singular the Improvements Premises and Appurtenances there^un^to belonging unto him the said Thomas Davis his heirs & Assigns unto the only Proper Use and Behoof of the Said Thomas Davis his heirs and Assigns forever & the Said Daniel Carroll & his heirs ^the said^ Two hundred Acres and every Part & Parcel thereof unto the said Thomas Davis & his heirs in manner & form aforesaid conveyed against him the said Daniel Carroll & against all & every person & persons from by & under him shall and will Warrant & for ever defend & of the said Daniel Carroll doth for himself & his heirs Executors & Administrators Covenant Promise grant & agree to and with the said Thomas Davis his heirs & Assigns That he the said Thomas Davis his heirs & assigns shall and may Quietly hold Occupy & Possess the aforesaid Bargained Land & Premises with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging and that the same shall for ever remain & Continue unto the said Thomas Davis his heirs & Assigns Clearly acquitted and discharged from all former Bargain grant & other Incumbrances whatsoever made executed or done by the said Daniel Carroll & Lastly it is agreed by & between the Parties to these Presents that every the Assurances as aforesaid shall be & shall be always taken to the proper use & behoof of him the said Thomas Davis his heirs & Assigns for ever any thing herein Contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding In Witness whereof the Party to these Presents first above named hath hereunto sett his Hand and affixed his Seal the day & Year above written Signed Sealed & delivered Daniel Carroll s in the Presence of the Words and that the same betw.n the 5.th & 6.th Lines in this page being first interlined J Hepburn Dan.l Dulany On the Back of the afore Deed was thus Written Viz |
