       shillings Sterling for the Use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine
       on the within seven hundred Acres of and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward
       Lloyd Esq.r his Said Lordships Agent and receiver general

Ex.d                         Maryland fs.t      This Indenture made
       this Twenty first day of December In the Year of our Lord God One thousand
       Seven hundred and sixty three Between Daniel Carroll Merch.t of Prince Georges     
       County of the one Part & Thomas Davis of Frederick County Inholder of the
       other Part   Witnesseth that the said Daniel Carroll for and in Consideration     
       of the sum of One hundred and Ten pounds sterling Money of Great Britain to
       him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these Presents by the s.d Thomas Davis
       the Receipt whereof the said Dan.l Carroll doth hereby Acknowledge & himself fully
       satisfyed and paid & thereof & Every part & Parcel thereof doth clearly acquit exonerate
       & discharge the said Thomas Davis his heirs Executors and Administrators for ever
       hath given granted Bargained & Sold Aliend & Confirmed & by these Presents doth
       fully Clearly & absolutely give grant Bargain sell alien & Confirm unto the said
       Thomas Davis his heirs & Assigns a Tract of Land called the Young Mans
       Delight being part of a parcel of a Tract of Land called the Exchange &
       new Exchange Enlarged Lying in Frederick County on the Draughts of Cap.t Johns
       Beginning in the sixth Line of a Tract of Land called the Exchange & New Exchange
       enlarged sixty eight perches from the Beginning of the said Line & running thence
       East Thirty two Perches to the End of the Said Line then North sixth three degrees
       East fifty six perches Then North by East one hundred and Sixty Nine Perches
       South Sixty five degrees East one hundred and thirty one Perches then south five degrees
       West one hundred and forty perches then south Thirty five perches then south sixty
       degrees West sixty perches North sixty seven degrees West seventy Nine Perches
