155. & forty five pchs then South Twenty Degrees East One hundred & fifty two Perches then south Fifty Eight Degrees West one hundred and sixteen Pches then North seven Degrees West sixteen perches then by a direct Line to the Beginning containing three hundred Acres of Land To have & To hold the said three hundred Acres of Land being part of Digges's Choice unto the said Patrick Macsherry his heirs & assigns for ever And the said Charles Carroll doth Covenant to & with the said Patrick Macsherry his Heirs and Assigns the aforesaid three hundred Acres of Land to Warrant & for ever defend the said Patrick Macsherry his Heirs & Assigns against all persons Claiming or to Claim any Right thereto from by or under him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs or Assigns In Witness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day & Year first above written signed sealed & Delivered Cha Carroll s in the presence of Mary Darnall John Reresby On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz 1763 Novem 14.th Received of Patrick Macsherry Two hundred & Twelve Pounds Ten shillings Pensilvania Money & one hundred & forty five pounds Three shillings & Nine pence Maryland Currency being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Test Cha Carroll John Reresby Maryland fs.t Novemb.r 15.th 1763 Then came Charles Carroll Esq.r Party to the within Deed before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court & acknowledged the Land & Premises within mentioned to be the Right & Estate of Patrick Macsherry his Heirs & Assigns forever Geo Steuart Recorded the 15.th Novemb.r 1763 |
