CHAPTER 317.
AN ACT to add a new section to Chapter 425 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1933, title "Licenses, " sub-
title "Motor Vehicles, " sub-heading "Gasoline Tax, " said
new section to follow immediately after Section 7A and
to be known as Section 7 AA, to empower and direct the
State Roads Commission of Maryland to pay the Mayor
and Town of Lonaconing out of the funds allocated to
Allegany County by the State Roads Commission of
Maryland from the "One and one-half Cent Lateral, Coun-
ty and Municipal Road Gasoline Tax Fund" certain sums
of money.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Chapter 425 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1933,
title, "Licenses, " sub-title, "Motor Vehicles, " sub-heading,
"Gasoline Tax, " said new section to be known as Section
7AA, to follow immediately after Section 7A of said Chap-
ter and to read as follows:
7AA. The State Roads Commission of Maryland is here-
by empowered and directed to pay the Mayor and Town
Council of Lonaconing out of the funds allocated to Alle-
gany County by the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land from the "One and one-half Cent Lateral,
County and Municipal Road Gasoline Tax Fund, " such sum
or sums of money as to retire each year two bonds in the
amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) each, plus the
interest on the unpaid bonds at the rate of five per centum
per annum, until all of the outstanding bonds in the amount
of Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($17, 000. 00) are paid, said
bonds being the unpaid remainder of an issue of Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($25, 000. 00), and the funds used by the
Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing in the reconstruc-
tion of that part of a post-road, known as Route Number
Thirty-six, that is within the corporate limits of the Town
of Lonaconing, and said bonds, having been issued in ac-
cordance with the provisions of Chapter 174 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1924.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.
