CHAPTER 318.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and de-
vises contained in the Last Wills and Testaments of cer-
tain persons, deceased, and also to certain gifts, grants,
sales, leases and deeds made by various persons to and
for the use and benefit of sundry ministerial persons, reli-
gious corporations, vestries, educational and charitable
institutions, churches, denominations or sects hereinafter
named.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the said General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises,
grants, sales, leases, conveyances and deeds, to and from
certain persons and bodies corporate to and for the use of
certain ministerial persons religious and educational corpo-
rations, orders, denominations and sects, and to certain
charitable institutions hereinafter named as herein set
forth:

1. To the devises and bequests contained in the Last Will
and Testament and Codicils thereto of Arthur Wallenhorst,
late of Baltimore City, deceased, of record in the office of the
Register of Wills of said City, in Wills Liber J. H. B. No.
178, folio 117 &c., viz:

(a) To McDonough Educational Fund and Institute of
Baltimore City, Two Thousand Dollars ($2000. 00) cash.
(Known in Will as Trustees of McDonough Educational
Fund and Institute).

(b) To Little Sisters of the Poor, Two Thousand Dollars
($2000. 00) cash.

(c) To Grand Lodge of Md. I. O. O. F. and Towson
Lodge No. 79 &c., Two Thousand Dollars ($2000. 00) cash.
(Known in Will as Towson Lodge No. 79 I. O. O. F. ).

(d) To Jewish Children's Society, Successor to Hebrew
Sheltering and Prot. Assoc. and Hebrew Orphan Asylum,
Two Thousand Dollars ($2000. 00) cash. (Known in Will
as Hebrew Children S. & L. Assn. now known as Jewish
Children's Society, Inc. ).

(e) To General German Orphan Asylum Asso, of the
City of Baltimore, by its Successor, the General German
Orphan Association of the State of Maryland, a body corpo-
rate, Four Thousand Dollars ($4000. 00) cash. (Known in
Will as General German Orphan Asylum Assn. ).
