        COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A road to be laid out from Elk Forge to the Delaware
line, ending on the land of E. Passmore,
—From Port Deposit, to intersect the road from the
lower ferry on the Susquehanna to Battle Swamp,
    A company incorporated for making a road from the
Philadelphia and Lancaster turnpike, &c. to the Susquehanna
bridge at McCall's ferry, and to the city of
Baltimore,
—The law of Pennsylvania recited, declared a law
of the state,
—The 4th section of the act of Maryland repealed,
    A road to be laid out from the road leading from
Peach Bottom Ferry to Christiana, to intersect the road
from the Bald Friar Ferry, and from the Rising Sun,
to Charles-town,
—From the Bell Hill road to the place where the
road from Elk Forge intersects the Delaware line,
—From W. Mountain's land, as therein directed,
to intersect the road from the brick meeting house, to
Simpson's tavern,
—From a point on the road from Elkton to the Blue
Ball Tavern, to intersect the road from Elkton to Fair 
Hill,
    The right of the New Castle and French-town turnpike
company to receive tolls, how to be confirmed, &c.
    A road to be laid out from the public road between
Fair Hill and Brick Hill, to intersect the road between
Dysart's Tavern and the Union School House,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the lower ferry on Susquehanna to Charles-town,
and thence to intersect the Elkton and Christiana
turnpike road,
    A road to be laid out from Union School House to
intersect the Pennsylvania line, &c.
—From a tract of land called Nole Wood on the
road from Elkton to Back Creek, with the line of
Nole Wood to Elk River,
—Provision for ascertaining damages, &c.
    A road to be laid out from the fishery of M. McLeary,
on Susquehanna, to the road from Port Deposit to
Wallace's Mills,
    A company incorporated to make turnpike roads
from Baltimore city to the Susquehanna bridge, near
Rock Run, and thence to the Maryland line, and to
intersect the road from Havre-de-Grace to Wilmington,
and that to Elkton,
    A road to be laid out from the public roads near Evans's
farm to intersect the road from Charles town to the
Rising Sun,
—From the road leading from the brick meeting
house, on the lower ferry, till it joins the road to Charles-town,
&c.
—From D. Patterson's lane, where it intersects the
road from Port Deposit to the brick meeting house,
to the road from Miller's mill to Charles-town,
—From J. Reynold's gate, on the road from the Rising
Sun towards Charles-town, to intersect a road leading
to Port Deposit,
—From near G. Gale's mill race, on the road from
the brick meeting house to the lower ferry, to intersect
the road therefrom to Battle Swamp, &c.
    The act of 1814, ch. 46, to lay out a road therein
mentioned, and its supplement (1815, ch. 16,) repealed,
    The old post road from Gray's Hill to the Delaware
line north of the turnpike road from Elkton to Christiana
to be shut up,
