            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Elkton to the site of the proposed bridge near
Rock Run,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the site of the Susquehanna bridge to the mouth
of Rock Run, &c. to intersect the Wilmington and
New Ark turnpike road,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the contemplated bridge over the Susquehanna at
Conowingo Creek, to the Pennsylvania line, &c.
    An old road therein mentioned confirmed as a public
road,

    Acts relating to the public roads in Calvert county,
&c.

    The levy court empowered to discontinue a part of
the public road leading from Peter Steel's, near the
Three Bridges,

authorised to be discontinued,
    The levy court authorised to discontinue part of the
road called Carter's Road,
    The mode of repairing the public roads altered, and
all acts inconsistent repealed,

    The public road from Port Tobacco, through the
Zachiah Swamp, to be repaired,
    Provisions relating to the public roads in Charles
county, &c.
    The road from Leonard-town to Newport to be
straightened and amended,
    A road from the post road by B. Spalding's to be laid
out, to intersect the road from Port Tobacco by Troy
to Piscataway,
    A road to be laid out as therein described to the Upper
Zachiah Church,
—Through Wollaston Manor, to the Cob Neck
Church, to intersect the public road from Port Tobacco,
    The old private road, beginning at the road from
Newport to Chaptico, till it intersects the divisional
line between Charles and St. Mary's counties, and
thence to a road from Chaptico to Charlotte Hall, to
be laid out, &c.
