The Status of the BCA

The Baltimore City Archives, with help from the Maryland State Archives, is the central depository for Baltimore City government records. Through a memorandum of understanding between the City of Baltimore and the Maryland State Archives, the majority of the historical records of Baltimore City have been cataloged into the Maryland State Archives online Guide to Government Records. State employees Robert Schoeberlein, PhD, and Jeni Spamer, MSI, staff the Baltimore City Archives.

Please consider supporting the ongoing work of the Baltimore City Archives by becoming a member of the Friends of the Maryland State Archives.
