The Baltimore City Archives is open for public appointments:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 3pm
4th Wednesday of each month from 5pm-8pm
In 2026, the following Wednesdays will be available for evening appointments:

In 2026, the City Archives will also be closed to the public on the following days:

| May 11 - 15 | Quarterly clean-up |
| July 27 - 31 | Quarterly clean-up |
| September 28 - October 2 | Quarterly clean-up |

| Wednesday, November 11 | Veterans' Day |
| December 21 - January 1 | Holiday closure |
