NATIONAL CONVENTION DELEGATES


GREEN PARTY NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION CONVENTION, (online),
July 9-12, 2020

Maryland was allotted eight delegates to the 2020 Green Party Presidential Nomination National Convention. Howie Hawkins secured five of these Maryland delegates, and Dario Hunter had three delegates. In non-Presidential election years, the Maryland Green Party Assembly elects two delegates to the Party's annual National Convention.


GREEN PARTY NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION CONVENTION, HOUSTON, TEXAS,
AUGUST 4-7, 2016

Maryland was allotted six delegates to the Green Party Presidential Nomination National Convention. In non-Presidential election years, the Maryland Green Party Assembly elects two delegates to the annual National Convention.

JULY 12-15, 2012

Maryland was allotted six delegates to the Green Party National Convention.


GREEN PARTY NATIONAL CONVENTION, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS,
JULY 10-13, 2008

At its Annual Assembly on May 3, 2008, the Maryland Green Party selected delegates to the 2008 Green Party National Convention. Maryland was allotted sixteen delegates, which was four times the number of its members on the Green National Committee. Ten delegates attended the Convention.


GREEN PARTY NATIONAL CONVENTION, MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN,
JUNE 23 - 28, 2004

Maryland was allotted twelve delegates to the Green Party National Convention in 2004. The number of delegates was based on a formula which took into account the State electoral vote, the number of Greens elected 2000 through 2003, and the State's Green Party voting strength. Delegates were elected by the membership at the Maryland Green Party Assembly on June 5, 2004. Ten delegates attended the convention.


ASSOCIATION OF STATE GREEN PARTIES NATIONAL CONVENTION, DENVER, COLORADO,
JUNE 24 - 25, 2000

The Maryland Delegation to the Association of State Green Parties National Convention in 2000 included ten delegates, seven of whom attended the convention. All ten slots were allotted based on Party membership. Delegates were nominated and elected by the membership at the Maryland Green Party Annual Assembly on May 7, 2000.
