In Dec. 2003, Chesapeake Executive Council authorized Chesapeake Bay Watershed Blue Ribbon Panel to find new and innovative sources of funding for Bay restoration. All financing possibilities were to be considered, including federal, State, local and private sources.

Panel began meeting in March 2004, and reported its findings to Council in Oct. 2004.

IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE

Restructured as Management Board in Nov. 2008.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT TASK FORCE

Maryland members appointed by Governor: Clarence I. Laird; Kurt Lipholdt.

Concluded its work in Oct. 1996.
