John Kilpatrick late of Kent County decd and which
warrant is here unto annexed have this sixteenth day of Sept
eighteen hundred and sixty eight proseeded to perform the
dutes required of us by said warrant after having been duly
qualified.  The Farm lies at the head of Still Pond Creek
in Kent Co Md and said to contain 280 acres of land
of which about 150 are arable the balance in wood marsh &c
The dwelling is a one story frame house 18 by 36 feet
with kitchen attached 10 by 12 ft in bad repair.  The Garding
is enclosed by an old paling fence not worth repairing
There is and old carriage house 8 by 20 one story high.  The Barn
is 31 ft by 18 and 16 feet to the square with Basement
stable there is a corn crib attached to the Barn 8½ ft
by 12 and 9 feet high all in a state of delapidation

                   The fencing is mostly of Chesnut rails and in
bad repair.  Their is about 700 Peach trees and 30 apple trees
about 6 years old but not thrifty

                There is also a tenant house 12 by 14 feet one room
below and one above not plastered and in bad condition
There is a frame dwelling on the lower end of the
farm 34 by 16 and 16 feet to the square.  With Basement
store room the kitchen is 12 by 16 one and a half
story high all in bad repair  The garden ^gardin^ is enclosed
by a plank fence in tolerable good condition

             After due reflection we have concluded to
set a Valuation on the farm of 350$ and 130$ on
the store House and dwelling making in all four
hundred and eighty dollars (480) currency of the
United States
                Given under our hands and seal this
             sixteenth day of Sept eighteen hundred and
                sixty eight
