    Whereas by virtue of the within and annexed order of
the orphants court for Kent County beaing dated June 4.th
AD 1867 we the subscribers were authorized and appointed
to go upon and view and value the real estate and premises
of Samuel C Baker late of Kent County deceased and
Whereas by said order we are directed to make reknown of
said valuation under our hands and seals to the said
court and whereas we have taken the within and annexed
oath.   and whereas it has been shown to us that Mary
Ann Baker the widow of said Samuel E Baker is
entitled to dower in said lands

Now therefore in conformity to the direct times of
the said order of the orphans Court for Kent County
we hereby certify that we did on the tenth day of June
in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty seven
enter upon view and value the said real estate subject
to said dower the said widow being between the ages
of forty and forty five years and being by law
entitled to two fifteen thes which said valuation
we do make and renew subject to said dower
the valuation of said lands and real estate of the
said Samuel E. Baker late of Kent County
deceased as following viz




No 1.
The Pipprs Farm laid off into farm
Fields buildings and fencing in
good order.  containing 153 a ^1 Rood^ 9 ft
at $45     per acre
The Home Farm (laid off into six fields
and two lots with a peach orchard of
about Twenty hundred trees and on
apple orchard house good but out

buildings indifferent 1 contains 291½
acres        at $ 155 per acre
No 3 the Garden Farm con
The Garden containing 211½ acres
and laid off into four fields with
house building and fencing in good
repair our value at $3600 per acre
