54 Court that there is considerable deficiency of frends and resources to meet the deficiency of debts due from the deceased in order to comply with the provisions of the said Will the Court do hereby appoint John Gale and Robert Nicholson two disinterested Freeholders of said county to value and appraise all the said lands and premises of the said Samuel E Baker deceased which was devised by his said Will to certain Devisees there in Named and whose duty it shall be after inspection and Valuation as aforesaid to make a report of their proceedings in writing to this Court and it is hereby further ordered that a copy of this order made and furnished to said Appraisers shall be evidence of their authority to discharge the duties required under the said last Will and Testament Maryland Kent County June 4.th 1867 I hereby certify that the foregoing is a trew copy taken from the minutes of proceedings of the Orphans Court dated June 4.th 1867 In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hands and the seal of my office affixed this 4.th day of June 1867 Jo.s P Ireland (Seal) Regr of wills The state of Maryland Kent County Md Be it remembered that this tenth day of June in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty seven personally appeared John Gale and Robt Nicholson of Kent County the persons named in the within order and appointment of the orphans Court and severlly made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty god that they will well and faithfully according to their skill and knowledge and without partiality value and apprase the real estate of the late Samuel C Baker of said county deceased sworn unto James Cake J P |
