5 Whereas by vertue of an order of the Orphans Court of Kent County bearing date 6.th of March 1860 We the subscribers were nominated authorised and appointed to go upon view and value the real Estate of Minor heirs of Thomas E. Gooding late of the county aforesaid they being Franklin M Lydia C and Addison M. Gooding and make return thereof to the said Court We having first taken the oath prescribed by an act of Assembly in such case made and provided These are therefore to certify that in conformity to directions in said order contained we did on the 19th of March 1860 enter upon and view the said real Estate as follows First Store House in Galena at present occupied by M.r William Rogers 25½ by 20 feet with a shed 11 by 25½ feet one story high in good condition which we value at one hundred Dollars per annum Secondly Dwelling house in Galena at present occupied by James Mason 28 by 18 feet two stories high with two rooms and a passage down stairs with three rooms up stairs with a shed 18 by 12 feet with one room above all in good order with Meat house 6 by 8 feet with a Necessary in the yard no garden which we value at Seventy five Dollars In annum Thirdly Dwelling house in Galena at present occupied by Mrs A. Gooding a large frame house 35 by 27 feet one story high with four rooms down stairs three rooms above with a kitchen 20 by 14 feet with a large garden pailed in the pails in tolerable condition with a yard and well with pump in it in good order with Poultry house 11 by 10 feet with meat house 12 by 14 feet with a small shed attached to the meat house 6 by 9 feet with a Necessary in the garden with a stable yard stake and carriage house 14 by 18 feet with a shed attached to the Stable 12 by 14 feet Ice house 12 by 10 feet with a large building consisting of sheds for cattle Carriage and Corn house and Granary 53 by 16 feet two stories high which we value at one hundred and twenty five dollars Fourthly A dwelling in Galena at present occupied by M.r Bowers 32 by 18 feet two stories high with two rooms below and two above with a shed 11 by 13 feet with one room below with kitchen 14 by 13 feet with yard and well in it and garden all pailed in; in good order with Milk house 5 by 6 feet with Meat house 12 by 10 feet with carriage house and stable 29 by 16 feet a small shed hen house 8 by 10 feet which we value at Eighty Dollars per annum Fifthly A house near the Mill-pond occupied by William H. Gooding 12 by 14 feet with spring house 6 by 8 feet Poultry house 16 by 8 feet with ox shed 10 by 12 feet in tolerable condition which we value at Twenty Dollars per annum |
