6 Sixthly A lot or parcel of land near Galena supposed to contain about Ninety acres which we value at Three Hundred Dollars And we further report that we find no slaves working beasts stock or utensils thereon belonging to the said Miners Geo. W. Spencer (seal) Josiah Massey (seal) We the Subscribers appointed by the Orphans Court of Kent County to view the estate of George W. Cacy a minor in the hands of John C. Hackett his Guardian and to estimate the annual value thereof and to do what is further enjoined by the annexed appointment do hereby certify that we have valued the real estate of the said George W. Cacy and estimate the annual thereof at Two hundred and seventy six dollars current money The estate consists of the minors interest in the home farm which we estimate at two hundred and forty six dollars and his interest in the "Rasin farm" which we estimate at thirty dollars For the condition of the buildings orchards gardens meadows woodland fencing &c we refer the Court to report made to your honors in the year eighteen hundred fifty eight (November the 10) as they are all in very much the Same condition now they were then The arable land on the home farm is dividing by the fences into Seven fields; About one third of the Farm is cultivated annually in rotation in corn and about the same proportion is seeded in wheat and oats The land seeded in wheat and oats is usually seeded in clover In Witness whereof we have hereto annexed our said appointment and the oath by us taken this sixth day of August eighteen hundred and Sixty William F. Cacy and estimate the annual value thereof at Six hundred and eighty nine dollars The minors consists of their interest in the Home farm which we estimate at two hundred and sixty seven dollars Their interest in the Harriss Farm which we estimate at one hundred and forty eight; And their interest in the Wittington property which |
