Rental Valuation of the property of the late Simon Wickes

December 16th 1874   We the undersigned appointed by the
Orphans' Court to appraise the rental value of the Real Estate
of the late Simon Wickes do hereby certify that in our Judgment
the above is a fair valuation of the same

                                                  July 29 1875
             We the subscribers being duly appointed by your Honorable
Body to set a rental value on the property of G. C. M. Brooks
late of Kent Co. dec'd have this day proceeded to perform the
duties devolved upon them after first being duly qualified

             A Description of the property and Rental Value of
same is hereto annexed

             Home Farm   containing about two hundred and forty
acres of arable land and about thirty acres of wood land improved
by a large two story Brick dwelling in good repair also a
new granary and corn crib 42 by 28 feet   The bal of the buildings
except the meat house and poultry house are in bad repair; and
would recommend a new stable

       The farm is divided into four fields of sixty acres each; one
is tilled in corn one in wheat one in oats and one in Grass.  There
is also a peach orchard of nine hundred trees mostly natural fruit

       The fencing about the house is in bad condition except the palings
around the garden Which are good.  The rental value of the above
described property we have set at eleven hundred dollars; all of which
