in pursuance of the power and authority in him vested granted bargained
and sold and delivered and by these presents doth by virtue and in
pursuance of such power and authority grant bargain and sell and deliver
unto the said Daniel Dail his executors administrators and assigns  All
and singular the Stock of Cattle horses cows oxen hogs poultry and sheep
And also all the farming utensils implements of husbandry household and
Kitchen furniture Crops in the ground and out of the ground and produce
situate and being on the farm land and premises now occupied by said
Lemuel G. Taylor in Anne Arundel County near Annapolis in the State of
Maryland aforesaid and also a negro woman named Sidonia aged about
twenty years and a negro boy named Dennis aged about sixteen years both
slaves for life   To have and to hold the same unto the said Daniel Dail
his executors administrators and assigns forever.   In testimony whereof
the said Andrew Flannigain hath hereunto subscribed his name
and affixed his seal on the day and year first above written.

             in the presence of                  Andrew Flannigain Trustee   (seal)

Received at or before the execution of the foregoing Deed from Daniel
Dail the party of the second part thereto the sum of two thousand five hundred
dollars lawful money the consideration therein mentioned to be paid by
him to me
Witness   Edwd E. Starr                     Andrew Flannigain Trustee

                      At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

State of Maryland City of Baltimore Sct.                     Be it remembered and
is it hereby certified that on this seventeenth day of September eighteen hundred
and fifty one before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the state of
Maryland in and for the City of Baltimore aforesaid personally appeared
Andrew Flannigain party to the foregoing deed or instrument of writing and
acknowledged the same to be his act and deed.  And we do further certify
that of our own knowledge the foregoing deed or instrument of writing
is the person named and described as and professing to be a party therein
And now at the same time also before me personally appeared Daniel
Dail the grantee named in the foregoing deed or Instrument of writing and
made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set
forth in the said foregoing deed or Instrument of writing is true and
bona fide as therein set forth.  In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed
my name on the day and year aforesaid.         Edwd G. Starr
Recd 17 Sept 1851 of grantee one dollar in lieu of stamp under act of 1846
