449 State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit: I certify that the grantee this day paid one dollar, being the duty, chargeable by law on This Instrument of Writing the receipt whereof, is hereon endorsed agreeably to the Act of Assembly of December Session 1846 Chapter 61. to me in hand paid by Sarah Jane Terry of said County in the said State, at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof I the said Thomas T. Terry do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Sarah Jane Terry her heirs, Executors and Administrators and Assigns, all the goods, household stuff, implements and furniture, and all other things hereinafter particularly mentioned, that is to say, two cows, three stoves, twelve chairs, one sideboard, three feather beds, three bed steads and covering, one bureau, two desks, twelve knives and forks, seven spoons, four Iron pots, two tea kettles, one furnace and Kettle, two carpets, and a lot of crockery ware, containing sixty pieces, one looking glass, and a lot of books containing twenty five, and one map in a frame &c &c, all and singular which said goods and chattels, are now remaining, standing and being in a certain house or tenement, situated in the City of Annapolis, and now in the joint occupancy of the said Thomas T. Terry and Sarah Jane Terry. To Have and To Hold, all and singular the said household stuff and furniture, and the other premises above bargained and sold, or mentioned intended so to be to the said Sarah Jane Terry, her heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, against me the said Thomas T. Terry my heirs, executors and administrators, and against all and every other persons whatsoever, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents, of all and singular, which said goods, household stuff and furniture, and other premises I the said Thomas T. Terry, have put the said Sarah Jane Terry in full possession by delivering to her the said |
