450 Sarah Jane Terry, one chair at the sealing and delivery of these presents, in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold, or mentioned or intended to be so, unto her the said Sarah Jane Terry as aforesaid. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6.th day of January 1851 Signed, sealed and Thomas T. Terry (Seal) delivered in presence of Jn.o G. Taylor State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit: Be it remembered, that on this sixth day of January 1851, before the Subscriber, a Justice of the Peace, in and for the State and County aforesaid, personally appeared Thomas T. Terry and acknowledged the aforegoing Instrument of Writing to be his act and deed, for the purposes therein set forth and recited Acknowledged before Jno: G. Taylor And at the same time, personally appeared Sarah Jane Terry, the grantee in the aforegoing Instrument of Writing, and made oath in due form of Law, that the consideration therein named is true and bona fide Sworn before Jn.o G. of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and delivered, and by these presents do grant bargain sell and deliver, unto the said Ellen Conner, my negro slaves, Eliza Lomax, William Lomax and Ann Maria Lomax children of the said Eliza Lomax. Eliza Lomax to serve till the first day of January eighteen hundred and sixty, and then to be free.
