Welsh late sheriff of Anne Arundel County as by reference to the same being had
among the Land records of Anne Arundel County will more fully appear  To Have
and To Hold the above mentioned and described property, unto him the said
John S Sellman his heirs and assigns forever in trust to and for the following
uses intents and purposes that is to say in trust for the use of John
Mortimer Duvall of Anne Arundel County State aforesaid and Sarah Ann
Duvall wife of said John Mortimer Duvall for and during their joint
natural lives and the life of the survivor of them provided should the
Said Sarah Ann Duvall be the survivor then this trust be intended
only to apply to her during her single life and to cease upon any
future marriage she may hereafter Make and to hold in trust
without impeachment of or for any manner of waste after the
death of the sad John Mortimer Duvall and Sarah Ann his wife
under the Conditions above set forth in relation to her the whole of
the said property or trust Estate as herein before mentioned for the
use and behoof of the surviving Children of the said John Mortimer
Duvall and heirs of his body and in case of the death of the
Said John Mortimer Duvall without issue surviving or in case thereafter
of the death of the Lawful heirs of his body then and in that
case the said John S Sellman shall hold the above described
property to and for the use and behoof of the said Maria Duvall
and shall convey pay over or apply said property or so much
thereof to such persons as the said Maria Duvall shall order and
direct or by Last will and testament order limit and direct and
by these presents are executed to and for no other intent use or
purpose whatsoever   In Witness whereof I the said Maria Duvall
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of
November in the year Eighteen hundred and forty Nine

State of Maryland Prince George's County Sct   Be it remembered
and it is hereby certified that on this third day of November
in the year Eighteen hundred and forty nine before me the
Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
in and for Prince Georges County personally appears Maria Duvall
known to me personally as the person named and described as a
party to the aforegoing deed of trust or Instrument of writing and
doth acknowledge the said deed or Instrument of writing to be
her act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof
and the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided In
testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on the
