F Worthington appointed by deed from said Worthington and wife to Said trustees bearing date the ninth day of February Eighteen hundred and forty nine and recorded in Liber J H N No 4 folio 149 &c one of the Land record books of Anne Arundel County for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and fifty dollars current money to us in hand paid by James Iglehart of the City of Annapolis at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and from every part and parcel thereof we do hereby acquit exonerate and discharge the said James Iglehart his executors administrators and assigns have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said James Iglehart his executors administrators and assigns negro man named Moses a slave for life about twenty Eight years old the property of the said George F Worthington and by him conveyed in trust to said Trustee by the deed hereinbefore referred to and do hereby deliver transfer and possession give of the said Slave unto the said James Iglehart. To Have and To Hold the said negro slave above bargained and sold or meant and intended so to be to the said James Iglehart his executors administrators and assigns forever to and for his and their only use and to and for no other use intent |
