324 these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes anything herein contained to the ^contrary^ notwithstanding otherwise to be of full force and virtue. In witness whereof the said John H Somervell has hereunto set his hand and seal on the day and year first above written John H. Somervell (seal) Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Robert S. D. Jones Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit Be it remembered that on this first day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty nine before the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for the county aforesaid personally appeared John H Somervell he being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing deed or indenture and doth acknowledge the said Indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed and at the same time also personally appeared William H. S. Boswell and Lewis Griffith party mortgagee to the foregoing instrument of they being known to me to be such and made oath that the consideration mentioned on the foregoing Indenture is true and bona fide as therein set forth In Witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the day and year aforesaid Robert S. D. Jones Recorded on the 8.th day of March 1849 Ex.d Cost $1.10
sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William W. Cooksey his executors administrators and assigns the following property to wit one sorrell mare one black mare and one Roan Cow all and singular which said property is now in the possession of said Thomas Sellman. To Have and to Hold all & singular said personal property above bargained and sold or meant mentioned and intended so to be to the said William W. Cooksey his executors administrators and assigns forever In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand & affixed my seal this twelfth day of March eighteen hundred and forty seven his Thomas x Sellman (seal) mark Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of R.
