325 subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for said County personally appeared the above and aforegoing named William W. Cooksey and made oath that the consideration mentioned in the foregoing Bill of sale is bona fide & just as therein stated set forth sworn before R. Welch of Ben Recorded the 12.th day of March 1849 cost .63½ paid
hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William W. Cooksey his executors administrators and assigns the following property to wit one negro woman named Milly and her four children John Sally George and James one ox cart one pair of oxen three milch cows two horses three beds two bedsteads one dozen windsor chairs one mahogany desk two looking glasses and all other the household and kitchen furniture and farming implements now in the possession of the said Richard J Tayman. To Have and to Hold all and singular the above premises as bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said William W. Cooksey his executors administrators and assigns forever. And I the said Richard J. Tayman for my self my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the above premises unto the said William W. Cooksey against me the said Richard J. Tayman my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. in Witness whereof I the said Richard J. Tayman have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this twelfth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine Rich.d J. Tayman (seal) Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of R. Welch of Ben State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this twelfth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said state in and for said County personally appears Richard J. Tayman and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the day and year aforesaid R. Welch of Ben (seal) State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct. On this twelfth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine personally appears the said William W. Cooksey and made oath that the consideration mentioned in the foregoing instrument of writing is just and bona fide as therein set forth sworn before R.
