175 the one part and William A Quynn of Prince Georges County and State aforesaid and John T. Quynn of Frederick County and State aforesaid of the other part Whereas the said John Quynn by his Indenture of mortgage bearing date on or about the sixth day of June in the year eighteen hundred and thirty four duly executed acknowledged and recorded in Liber W. S. G. No 1 folio 309 & 310 one of the personal Deed Record Books of Anne Arundel County did for and in consideration of the sum of sixty dollars current money bargain and sell unto the said Lewis N. Sewell his executors administrators and assigns one negro girl named Henny aged about twelve years on condition that in case the said John Quynn should pay and satisfy to the said Lewis N. Sewell his executors administrators or assigns the said sum of sixty dollars with interest from the date of said mortgage on or before the sixth day of December then next ensuing that the said Bill of sale and every matter and thing therein expressed should be void and of none effect as by reference to said deed of mortgage will more fully and at large appear. And whereas the said debt in the said mortgage mentioned has been fully paid and satisfied and the said William Bryan as administrator de bonis non as aforesaid is willing to release the same by these presents. And whereas also the said John Quynn on the twenty fifth day of May in the year eighteen hundred and thirty five by his Indenture of mortgage duly executed acknowledged and recorded in Liber W. S. G No 1 folio 394 & 395 one of the personal Deed Record Books of Anne Arundel County did for and in consideration that the said John Quynn was indebted to the said Robert Welch of Ben for money loaned at different times and that the said Welch was responsible by his endorsement on the said John Quynn's note in the Farmers Bank of Maryland and that the said John Quynn was desirous to secure to said Welch full payment of said claim and in consideration of the sum of five dollars current money bargain and sell unto the said Robert Welch of Ben his Executors administrators and assigns the said negro Girl named Henny aged about twelve years and one other negro girl by the name of Nan or Nancy aged about thirteen years also one yearling and various articles of household furniture to wit one clock one doz chairs two dining tables one carpet two looking glasses and one slab on condition that if the said John Quynn should pay and satisfy to the said Welch or to his Executors administrators or assigns the sum or sums of money which he then owed and stood indebted to the said Welch and also save harmless and indemnify the said Welch from all loss and damage by reason of his endorsement on the note aforesaid then the said Bill od sale should be void and of none effect as by reference to said deed of mortgage will more fully appear And whereas since the execution of the last recited mortgage the said negro Girl Henny hath had issue the following children to wit a boy named Ben and a girl named Nanny and the said Negro Girl Nan or Nancy hath also had issue the three following children to wit Jim Mary and Harriett.
