157 writing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned Wm Glover chd 57.cts 4½ Recorded the 10 day of February 1842 Know all Men by these presents that I Mary Tayman of Anne Arundel County in the state of maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of five dollars Current money to me in hand paid by William Watson and Thomas E Watson of the same County and state at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Mary Tayman do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William Watson and Thomas E Watson their Executors administrators and assigns one sorrel mare of the value of sixty dollars one Grey mare ten years old of the value of thirty five dollars two milch Cows one Spotted the other red and of the value of ten dollars each one yoke of Young oxen three years old next spring and of the value of twelve dollars 2 cow calves yearlings of the value of two dollars each one sow six shoats of the value of Eighteen dollars two beds bedsteads and furniture of the value of fifty dollars Side board of the value of five dollars and one day clock one Cupboard and Cupboard furniture of the value of ten dollars together with all and singular the household and kitchen furniture of every description that is now in the possession of the said Mary Tayman and of the value of ten dollars over and above what is specifically named above and one plough of the value of two dollars all which property is now in the occupation of the said Mary Tayman To have and To hold all and Singular the said property household goods & furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or meant mentioned and intended so to be to the said William Watson and Thomas E Watson their Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Mary Tayman for myself my heirs Executors and administrators all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture and other the premises unto the said William and Thomas E Watson their executors administrators and assigns against me the said Mary Tayman my Executors and administrators & assigns and against all and Singular and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods household Stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said Mary Tayman have put the said William Watson & Thomas E Watson in full possession by delivering to them one Cow and one tablespoon at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto them the said William Watson and Thomas Watson as aforesaid In Witness whereof I the said Mary Tayman have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this Ninth day of February A D Eighteen hundred and forty two Signed Sealed and delivered in the Mary Tayman (seal) presence of erasure in the forty and |
