Know all Men by these presents that I Catherine W Dumeste of Anne Arundel
County and state of maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of three
hundred Dollars Current money to me in hand paid by George K Ridgely of the
County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof I C W Demeste do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto
the said George K Ridgely his Executors administrators and assigns all the
following property to wit one four horse waggon and gears one brown mare
Eight years old one brown gelding five years old one bay gelding ten or twelve
years old one large bay gelding seven years old seven head of horned cattle
six head of sheep Eighteen head of hogs two stacks of Rye all the grain now
growing both wheat and Rye also all my farming utensils of every description
and all my household and kitchen furniture and all my Crop of tobacco
and also all my Crop of Corn all and singular which said goods
are now remaining standing and being on the premises whereon William
A Ridgely of the County aforesaid now resides  To have and to hold all
and singular the said goods and chattels household Stuff and furniture and
other the premises above bargained and sold or meant mentioned and
intended so to be to the said George K Ridgely his Executors administrators
and assigns for ever and I the said Catherine V Dumeste for myself my
heirs Executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and
Chattels and other the premises unto the said George K Ridgely his Executors
administrators and assigns against me the said Catherine V Dumeste my
Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or
persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these
presents of all and singular which said goods and chattels household
Stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said Catherine V
Dumeste have put the said George K Ridgely in full possession by
delivering to him the said George K Ridgely one table Spoon at the
sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him
the said George K Ridgely  In Witness whereof I the said Catherine V Dumeste
have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the Thirteenth day
of December Eighteen hundred and thirty Eight
