seven dollars and five cents to me in hand paid by Zachariah H. Davis of Carroll county and state aforesaid before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Charles Pickett do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Zachariah H. Davis his heirs and assigns all the following mentioned property to wit: one black and white cow one red & white cow one white Heiffer with red ears one red and white spotted Heiffer; one red Heiffer; two red yearling steers; one bay mare; one two horse wagon; all my crop of wheat growing being the one half of all on the farm whereon I reside; one brood sow; eight shoats; one new barshear plough; two shovel ploughs and one cultivator all and singular which said property is now remaining standing and being in a certain tenement now occupied by me in Howard county aforesaid; To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods chattels and property and other the premises above |
