61 bargained and sold or meant mentioned and intended hereby so to be to the said Zachariah H. Davis his heirs and assigns forever; and I the said Charles Pickett for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods chattels and property and other the premises unto the said Zachariah H. Davis his heirs & assigns against me the said Charles Pickett my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Testimony whereof I the said Charles Pickett have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of December Eighteen hundred and fifty four his In presence of Charles x Pickett (seal) Reuben Warfield mark State of Maryland Howard County to wit On this 21.st day of December A. D. Eighteen hundred and fifty four before me a justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid personally appeared Charles Pickett he being known by me to be the party to the aforegoing bill of sale on Instrument of writing and whose name is thereto attached and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed and at the same time personally appeared Zachariah H. Davis the grantee named in the aforegoing Bill of sale and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the said instrument of writing is true and bona fide as therein set forth. Acknowledged and sworn before me Reuben Warfield Received to be recorded on the 2.nd day of January 1855 same day recorded and Examined per W. H. Worthington clk
of Baltimore city and state aforesaid. Witness that the said Mary Brand ^doth bind her son William Brand^ to the said Micheal Joseph Kuhn for the space of three years |
